Description:

There are various existing or ongoing efforts to collect data on the financial needs of social enterprises. These could usefully be collated and perhaps extended in order to provide a coherent picture of the demand for finance by social enterprises.

2. There are various sources and types of financial services available for social enterprises. Some of these are generic and some are specific to social enterprise. It would be useful to put together a guide to finance for social enterprise that includes information on these.

3. Institutions that are considering possible interventions (including government and corporates) would find a review of international examples/best practice useful to inform the design of their interventions.
